Water-powered cars continue to be the largest single topic taking over my in box—and the Comments section of this Web site. And it's not just my recent column on the truth about water-chugging prototypes. This trend has become an obsession with many backyard inventors, and some of them have become quite strident, insisting that if I knew anything at all about cars, I'd be embracing this technology. They say it could
help change the world as we know it. They even say it could eliminate the energy crisis altogether. For this sentiment, I applaud them. And honestly, I hope it's all true.
Unfortunately, I have to indict their physics. The entire concept of running your car on water is based on bad science. The idea is to use electricity from the car's alternator to electrolyze water into HHO, a mixture of pure hydrogen and oxygen. This mix is fed into the intake air, where it is burned along with gasoline, thereby increasing your fuel economy anywhere from 15 to 100 percent—depending on which Web site you're visiting.
Believe the hype, and those 1 to 2 liters of HHO streamed into the engine will double the fuel economy, clean the engine out, and maybe even grow hair. Plenty of these budget sites even claim their devices are efficient enough for a version that would run a car entirely on water—no gasoline at all.

Jan 11Where To Find an HHO Generator Car Kit
Uncategorized3 Comments »A lot of people have emailed us asking to buy an HHO Kit, ready to install. Aron and I have been really busy with other projects and are still experimenting with different designs ourselves, so at this time we don’t offer a kit. We are really running this site mostly to get the information out there for everyone. Still, there are quite a few hho car kits on the market right now, and there are lots of reasons a do it yourselfer might look
them over for ideas or even buy one.
First, you might not feel up to the task of hunting down parts, assembling them and then testing them only to find out you went down the wrong track and it didn’t work. You might just want to leave that to crazy tinkerers like us! We have gotten some really good results, but we have a graveyard of partially successful or unsuccessful hho generator units. That’s what we like to do with our spare time, but you might be more into watching the
football game or whichever.
Second, not only are there hho conversion kits for sale out there, but oxygen sensor kits, hho generator plans, hookup kits, bubbler and housing kits, stainless steel parts, and more. You might be having trouble finding all of your parts and be able to locate them amongst the rest of the items for sale. There are a lot of attached video to watch and links to other sites from the sales pages.
The third reason to check out what’s for sale is to see what has (apparently) been working for others and get the old creative juices flowing. I like to look through the various offerings and see what everyone has been up to. I find that certain items look useful and like they might work, while others have some issues. I won’t recommend kits since I haven’t tried many myself, but take a close look before you buy one and see if the
design makes sense. Here are a few things to look for that make a big difference:
•Seller reputation - are these the new kids on the block or seasoned hho veterans?
•Buyer feedback - any way of telling what buyers thought after they installed it?
•Size and shape - can it fit in your car? Get out a tape measure and make sure!
•Materials - is it built out of something durable, or just a tupperware container and some duct tape?
•Hookup materials - if you are buying an hho kit, it should come with mounting hardware and electrical connection supplies
So there you have it. Even if you’re not looking to buy, it is worthwhile having a look at hho hydrogen car kits. Maybe you will find the answer to some little technical problem that is bothering you, like how everyone else hooks up their hho unit. Maybe you will find those premade stainless steel plates you were having trouble locating, or that oxygen sensor and computer kit for hho. And if you are like me, you will leave the Online HHO

HHO Generator Demo8 Comments »We have been experimenting with a lot of different designs for hydrogen generators. One of our goals was to make a more efficient unit that uses less power and therefore builds less waste heat.
One of these hho car kits is attached to this Pontiac Sunfire. My son has been running this car to and from school and work. He has been putting on about 600 kilometers per month. As well, I have been taking it for long drives at night. One thing I found is that different driving styles make a real difference. My son “drives it like he stole it” and this sure puts fuel mileage in the backseat. Even with higher revvs on the engine and faster starts
and stops, he consistently got more than 25% gains from running our generator.
We used no electrolytes or baking soda in this unit. Straight tap water only. There were no sensor modifications made to this car. The unit is in front of the radiator and behind the grill, and measures 3.5″ by 18″ long. It draws between 2.5 and 4 amps depending on run time and amount of water conditioning.
This video is of a long drive on a winding road with hills and valleys. Average speed is above the speed limit all the way. As you can see in the video, when I figure out how much gasoline I use I fill the tank to an excessive amount to avoid skewing the results.

Jul 03HHO Hydrogen Generators and Storing Pressurized HHO Gas
HHO Information13 Comments »There have been a few comments by hopeful do it yourselfers who want to store up HHO gas in an old propane tank, etc. This is normally not done for a variety of reasons, and some of the biggest concerns are safety. Here is one comment we received:
The only way that I thought of possibly pressurizing the HHO would be to have the entire system pressurized. So that when the HHO bubbles are made it automatically pressurizes the tank. Then when its at the pressure you desire turn the valve to off and bleed the cell to unpressurize it to add more water or do maintenance. The highest pressure you could probably achieve is about 35-40 PSI without spending a
ridiculous amount of money on expensive equipment. The tanks they are using for Hydrogen prototype cars have a cap at about 10,000 PSI But those tanks alone are about $5,000. The main problem here is pressurizing the HHO cell and lines without leaks or explosion.
From what ive seen online people seem to be yielding about 2liters per minute off their HHO cell and receive about 25% increase in efficiency. Wouldn’t you then be able to run your vehicle completly off of 5 HHO cells running simultaneously?
Ok, so here’s a few things to consider. Hydrogen weakens normal metals and materials. This leads to cracks and leaks. A lot of research was done by accredited labs, etc on hydrogen storage years ago. My understanding of the matter is that high pressure hydrogen will find a leak if even the smallest pinhole is present, and escape to atmosphere. Or, escape to the trunk and interior of your car! Also, the average home built
unit will have trouble holding much pressure and the gas will start causing small leaks in your system.
Also, HHO is an explosive mixture of hydrogen and oxygen which no sane person would try to store in a jury rigged homemade container in their vehicle. It’s flat out dangerous. Most gases that are stored need oxygen to mix with them to make them burn, ie. propane. The mixing is already done with HHO kits, and this is why sometimes you can have a flashback to your production unit. If you have a little flashback and ruin your
generator, that is one thing. How about packing a bomb around in your trunk? Those storage tanks mentioned are for pure hydrogen, which none of us are making with our simple generators.
The best bet in my opinion is to produce the HHO gas and burn it right away as needed in your engine. Never have your hydrogen generator running with the ignition off. Use a flashback arrestor on any high production unit. And always experiment in a well ventilated area when testing your new unit. You don’t want to take any chances.
If you must store hydrogen, you need to have ALL STAINLESS STEEL fittings. You need to use a stainless steel tank. Better yet, an expensive but safe metal hydride tank which will store the hydrogen gas in a solid form. Remember, a regular pressure pump might not have high quality stainless steel insides or corrosion resistant parts unless it is specifically built to handle acid or hydrogen. This goes for most valves, regulators
or other parts you might think would work in a pressurized system.

If this sounds like it's too good to be true, it is. And I've discussed it in this column too many times to go over again, so I won't. I've tested way too many bogus gas savers and miracle fuel-saving gadgets over the years to buy in to this one. So it's time to put up or shut up, and do what we do best around here—test drive, generate real-world numbers, and come up with realistic answers.
So, last month I received an electrolyzer, fabricated by my old Monster Garage partner, Steve Rumore at Avalanche Engineering out in Colorado. Steve cleverly designed the device into a steel toolbox, making it portable—just the ticket for someone tinkering with HHO/water/hydrogen/Brown's Gaspowered conveyances. Steve isn't a gadget geek—his company fabricates championship off-road vehicles. But he was
talked into making a couple of HHO units by one of his customers. And why not? The plans are all over the Internet, and the tech isn't very complicated. The unit consists of eight plastic bottles with stainless-steel electrodes, connected up in series—parallel to the vehicle's battery. The cells are filled with plain ol' water and a small amount of potassium hydroxide electrolyte to conduct electricity. A hose conveys the HHO output to the
engine.
It took me a few days of puttering around in my shop to get the electrolyzer up and running. I'm using an HKS Camp 2 onboard computer, hooked into an LCD monitor that's suction-cupped to the windscreen, to check things like mass airflow, fuel-injector pulse width, battery voltage and, of course, fuel economy. The Camp 2 took a little debugging, but now I've got the whole science-fiction mess installed in one of our long-term test
cars, complete with wires and hoses everywhere and a back-flash trap/flow meter bubbling away on the dash like Dr. Frankenstein's hookah. This fiendish device prevents any backfire-related explosion in the HHO line from propagating back into the electrolyzer. It also provides instant visual feedback of HHO delivery to the intake, as bubbles scurry from the bottom to the top of the water column. Yes, I have it mounted inside
the car.
But guess what? My fuel economy is exactly the same, whether the HHO generator is turned on or not. And that's exactly what I expected. This isn't anecdotal evidence from several tankfuls of gasoline. It's steady-state, flat-road testing, and I don't even pretend to have actual economy numbers. I'm using fuel-injector pulse widths directly from the OBD II port. That means I'm measuring the actual time the injectors are open and
delivering fuel. When the HHO generator is toggled on, there's no change. And when it's turned back off, there's no change. Well, the computer's system voltage sags a couple of tenths of a volt, indicating the current drain to run the electrolyzer.
Before you HHO proponents start bombarding me with hate mail, chill. You may have some amazing anecdotal evidence that these systems work. But I'm not swayed by over-the-road proof unless the conditions are constant—the variables are too, well, variable. And that includes my own testing. There's too much noise in the data collection, statistically speaking, and quite a bit of room for experimenter bias. From considerable
experience with other gas savers, I know even the subtlest change in driving habits can influence the results. I won't be convinced of any fuel savings until I see results on a dynamometer, where I can control everything except the HHO.
I spent a good hour on the phone yesterday with Fran Giroux of hydrogen-boost.com. He tells me that the HHO injection is only an enabler for other devices and changes. The fuel savings doesn't come from the energy contained in the hydrogen as it's burned, which is what I've asserted all along was implausible. Giroux sells a system of modifications that disables the engine management's computer and makes the
engine run extremely lean—as lean as 20:1. That's far from the normal 14.7:1. The hydrogen is necessary to let the ultralean mix burn completely, he claims. There's also a heater for the fuel to promote complete vaporization, and some additives for the fuel and oil to complete his system.
Interesting? Why, yes. But there's a catch.
These mods come under the category of tampering with a federally-mandated emissions control system, making it impossible to pass the underhood visual inspection component of many state smog inspections. To pass this underhood check, no part of the emissions control system can appear to have been modified or disabled. Add in the OBD II pass-fail to the smog check, and odds are these modifications will
keep you from getting a smog sticker. That means you might have to disable—and perhaps remove—the system to pass the annual test. Just don't get caught in between.
I had another long talk yesterday with Steve Rumore, my off-road buddy turned HHO donater. He's experimenting with several vehicles, and actually getting some consistent results—fuel-economy improvements to the tune of 10 to 12 percent on diesel trucks pulling trailers. He's tinkering with some of the same things Giroux is suggesting. We're looking into ways to refine both his and my experimental methods. But I'm convinced
there's a lot of placebo effect. I also think that these mods may be increasing fuel economy independently of the HHO injection. So stay tuned, because we're still testing. Once we get some more data onboard, we'll be dyno testing.

Hi guys, I just wanna say THANK YOU for a fantastic product. I just bought the cell with your bubbler for my mother and her car (her name is E** *****, think you might recognize the name). Shortly after we began experimenting with HHO we realized that conventional electrolysis would only take us so far. We designed many different HHO Generators, some with Stainless Steel tubes and some with Stainless Steel Plates. We tried almost every electrolyte possible, from Sodium Hydroxide and Pottasium Hydroxide to Ammonia and Baking Soda. We experimented with the effects of vacuum on Hydrogen production
as well as the effects of heat. We took pages and pages of notes and compared them with others.
It wasn't as simple as we thought.
We had numerous problems, most notably with controlling amperage and heat. We immediately noticed the terminals at our HHO Cell became incredibly hot and left uncontrolled, it would melt the container. We also found that it was impossible to mix our HHO electrolyte correctly given the effects temperature has on amperage.
Regardless of the electrolyte concentration, the end result was always the same. The longer the HHO Generator ran, the more amperage it consumed and the more heat it created.So, having experience in electronics, it became apparent we needed a Pulse Width Modulator for our HHO System.We experimented with many different frequencies and designs of HHO Pulse Width Modulators, just as Stanley Meyer did and settled
on the HHO PWM that worked best with minimal maintenance and tweaking.

An HHO generator uses the basic and very old process of electrolysis of water (H2O) to convert it to its gaseous state (HHO). For a car, truck or other vehicle, the HHO generator fits either under the hood or in the trunk or bed.
Once the HHO generator creates gas from water, this is then injected into the vehicle's intake system. The hydrogen and oxygen (sometimes called hydroxy or oxyhydrogen) helps the gasoline or diesel fuel burn more cleanly inside the cylinders.
This clean burn means fewer emissions and increased gas mileage. It must be noted that both hydrogen and oxygen are flammable and combustible in the gaseous state.
How the HHO generator works exactly has been a debate for years. Ever since William A. Rhodes (Rhode's gas) and Yull Brown (Brown's gas) applied for patents in the 1960's and 1970's concerning HHO gas and showed its use in welding applications, critics have been calling this snake oil, scams, and other choice names.
What the critics have yet to explain however is the fact that it actually does work. Yull Brown used an HHO torch to weld materials and even burn himself on the forearm to prove that an HHO generator can produce clean gas with a high temperature (over 6,000 F).

A company that Rhodes started in Phoenix, Arizona called Arizona Hydrogen Manufacturing is now selling HHO generator based welding machines that electrolyze water to create the gas for a high temperature flame. It's hard to call something snake oil when there is irrefutable visual evidence that it works.
So, because HHO gas is not well understood on an atomic scale, some people tend to pan what they don't understand. But, nevertheless, HHO generators are here to stay as their demand in the automotive industry increases daily and their use in the welding industry is also a hot commodity. Water-powered cars continue to be the largest single topic taking over my in box—and the Comments section of this Web site. And it's not just my recent column on the truth about water-chugging prototypes. This trend has become an obsession with many backyard inventors, and some of them have become quite strident, insisting that if I knew anything at all about cars, I'd be embracing this technology. They say it could
help change the world as we know it. They even say it could eliminate the energy crisis altogether. For this sentiment, I applaud them. And honestly, I hope it's all true.
Unfortunately, I have to indict their physics. The entire concept of running your car on water is based on bad science. The idea is to use electricity from the car's alternator to electrolyze water into HHO, a mixture of pure hydrogen and oxygen. This mix is fed into the intake air, where it is burned along with gasoline, thereby increasing your fuel economy anywhere from 15 to 100 percent—depending on which Web site you're visiting.
Believe the hype, and those 1 to 2 liters of HHO streamed into the engine will double the fuel economy, clean the engine out, and maybe even grow hair. Plenty of these budget sites even claim their devices are efficient enough for a version that would run a car entirely on water—no gasoline at all.

Uncategorized3 Comments »A lot of people have emailed us asking to buy an HHO Kit, ready to install. Aron and I have been really busy with other projects and are still experimenting with different designs ourselves, so at this time we don’t offer a kit. We are really running this site mostly to get the information out there for everyone. Still, there are quite a few hho car kits on the market right now, and there are lots of reasons a do it yourselfer might look
them over for ideas or even buy one.
First, you might not feel up to the task of hunting down parts, assembling them and then testing them only to find out you went down the wrong track and it didn’t work. You might just want to leave that to crazy tinkerers like us! We have gotten some really good results, but we have a graveyard of partially successful or unsuccessful hho generator units. That’s what we like to do with our spare time, but you might be more into watching the
football game or whichever.
Second, not only are there hho conversion kits for sale out there, but oxygen sensor kits, hho generator plans, hookup kits, bubbler and housing kits, stainless steel parts, and more. You might be having trouble finding all of your parts and be able to locate them amongst the rest of the items for sale. There are a lot of attached video to watch and links to other sites from the sales pages.
The third reason to check out what’s for sale is to see what has (apparently) been working for others and get the old creative juices flowing. I like to look through the various offerings and see what everyone has been up to. I find that certain items look useful and like they might work, while others have some issues. I won’t recommend kits since I haven’t tried many myself, but take a close look before you buy one and see if the
design makes sense. Here are a few things to look for that make a big difference:
•Seller reputation - are these the new kids on the block or seasoned hho veterans?
•Buyer feedback - any way of telling what buyers thought after they installed it?
•Size and shape - can it fit in your car? Get out a tape measure and make sure!
•Materials - is it built out of something durable, or just a tupperware container and some duct tape?
•Hookup materials - if you are buying an hho kit, it should come with mounting hardware and electrical connection supplies
So there you have it. Even if you’re not looking to buy, it is worthwhile having a look at hho hydrogen car kits. Maybe you will find the answer to some little technical problem that is bothering you, like how everyone else hooks up their hho unit. Maybe you will find those premade stainless steel plates you were having trouble locating, or that oxygen sensor and computer kit for hho. And if you are like me, you will leave the Online HHO

HHO Generator Demo8 Comments »We have been experimenting with a lot of different designs for hydrogen generators. One of our goals was to make a more efficient unit that uses less power and therefore builds less waste heat.
One of these hho car kits is attached to this Pontiac Sunfire. My son has been running this car to and from school and work. He has been putting on about 600 kilometers per month. As well, I have been taking it for long drives at night. One thing I found is that different driving styles make a real difference. My son “drives it like he stole it” and this sure puts fuel mileage in the backseat. Even with higher revvs on the engine and faster starts
and stops, he consistently got more than 25% gains from running our generator.
We used no electrolytes or baking soda in this unit. Straight tap water only. There were no sensor modifications made to this car. The unit is in front of the radiator and behind the grill, and measures 3.5″ by 18″ long. It draws between 2.5 and 4 amps depending on run time and amount of water conditioning.
This video is of a long drive on a winding road with hills and valleys. Average speed is above the speed limit all the way. As you can see in the video, when I figure out how much gasoline I use I fill the tank to an excessive amount to avoid skewing the results.

Jul 03HHO Hydrogen Generators and Storing Pressurized HHO Gas
HHO Information13 Comments »There have been a few comments by hopeful do it yourselfers who want to store up HHO gas in an old propane tank, etc. This is normally not done for a variety of reasons, and some of the biggest concerns are safety. Here is one comment we received:
The only way that I thought of possibly pressurizing the HHO would be to have the entire system pressurized. So that when the HHO bubbles are made it automatically pressurizes the tank. Then when its at the pressure you desire turn the valve to off and bleed the cell to unpressurize it to add more water or do maintenance. The highest pressure you could probably achieve is about 35-40 PSI without spending a
ridiculous amount of money on expensive equipment. The tanks they are using for Hydrogen prototype cars have a cap at about 10,000 PSI But those tanks alone are about $5,000. The main problem here is pressurizing the HHO cell and lines without leaks or explosion.
From what ive seen online people seem to be yielding about 2liters per minute off their HHO cell and receive about 25% increase in efficiency. Wouldn’t you then be able to run your vehicle completly off of 5 HHO cells running simultaneously?
Ok, so here’s a few things to consider. Hydrogen weakens normal metals and materials. This leads to cracks and leaks. A lot of research was done by accredited labs, etc on hydrogen storage years ago. My understanding of the matter is that high pressure hydrogen will find a leak if even the smallest pinhole is present, and escape to atmosphere. Or, escape to the trunk and interior of your car! Also, the average home built
unit will have trouble holding much pressure and the gas will start causing small leaks in your system.
Also, HHO is an explosive mixture of hydrogen and oxygen which no sane person would try to store in a jury rigged homemade container in their vehicle. It’s flat out dangerous. Most gases that are stored need oxygen to mix with them to make them burn, ie. propane. The mixing is already done with HHO kits, and this is why sometimes you can have a flashback to your production unit. If you have a little flashback and ruin your
generator, that is one thing. How about packing a bomb around in your trunk? Those storage tanks mentioned are for pure hydrogen, which none of us are making with our simple generators.
The best bet in my opinion is to produce the HHO gas and burn it right away as needed in your engine. Never have your hydrogen generator running with the ignition off. Use a flashback arrestor on any high production unit. And always experiment in a well ventilated area when testing your new unit. You don’t want to take any chances.
If you must store hydrogen, you need to have ALL STAINLESS STEEL fittings. You need to use a stainless steel tank. Better yet, an expensive but safe metal hydride tank which will store the hydrogen gas in a solid form. Remember, a regular pressure pump might not have high quality stainless steel insides or corrosion resistant parts unless it is specifically built to handle acid or hydrogen. This goes for most valves, regulators
or other parts you might think would work in a pressurized system.

If this sounds like it's too good to be true, it is. And I've discussed it in this column too many times to go over again, so I won't. I've tested way too many bogus gas savers and miracle fuel-saving gadgets over the years to buy in to this one. So it's time to put up or shut up, and do what we do best around here—test drive, generate real-world numbers, and come up with realistic answers.
So, last month I received an electrolyzer, fabricated by my old Monster Garage partner, Steve Rumore at Avalanche Engineering out in Colorado. Steve cleverly designed the device into a steel toolbox, making it portable—just the ticket for someone tinkering with HHO/water/hydrogen/Brown's Gaspowered conveyances. Steve isn't a gadget geek—his company fabricates championship off-road vehicles. But he was
talked into making a couple of HHO units by one of his customers. And why not? The plans are all over the Internet, and the tech isn't very complicated. The unit consists of eight plastic bottles with stainless-steel electrodes, connected up in series—parallel to the vehicle's battery. The cells are filled with plain ol' water and a small amount of potassium hydroxide electrolyte to conduct electricity. A hose conveys the HHO output to the
engine.
It took me a few days of puttering around in my shop to get the electrolyzer up and running. I'm using an HKS Camp 2 onboard computer, hooked into an LCD monitor that's suction-cupped to the windscreen, to check things like mass airflow, fuel-injector pulse width, battery voltage and, of course, fuel economy. The Camp 2 took a little debugging, but now I've got the whole science-fiction mess installed in one of our long-term test
cars, complete with wires and hoses everywhere and a back-flash trap/flow meter bubbling away on the dash like Dr. Frankenstein's hookah. This fiendish device prevents any backfire-related explosion in the HHO line from propagating back into the electrolyzer. It also provides instant visual feedback of HHO delivery to the intake, as bubbles scurry from the bottom to the top of the water column. Yes, I have it mounted inside
the car.
But guess what? My fuel economy is exactly the same, whether the HHO generator is turned on or not. And that's exactly what I expected. This isn't anecdotal evidence from several tankfuls of gasoline. It's steady-state, flat-road testing, and I don't even pretend to have actual economy numbers. I'm using fuel-injector pulse widths directly from the OBD II port. That means I'm measuring the actual time the injectors are open and
delivering fuel. When the HHO generator is toggled on, there's no change. And when it's turned back off, there's no change. Well, the computer's system voltage sags a couple of tenths of a volt, indicating the current drain to run the electrolyzer.
Before you HHO proponents start bombarding me with hate mail, chill. You may have some amazing anecdotal evidence that these systems work. But I'm not swayed by over-the-road proof unless the conditions are constant—the variables are too, well, variable. And that includes my own testing. There's too much noise in the data collection, statistically speaking, and quite a bit of room for experimenter bias. From considerable
experience with other gas savers, I know even the subtlest change in driving habits can influence the results. I won't be convinced of any fuel savings until I see results on a dynamometer, where I can control everything except the HHO.
I spent a good hour on the phone yesterday with Fran Giroux of hydrogen-boost.com. He tells me that the HHO injection is only an enabler for other devices and changes. The fuel savings doesn't come from the energy contained in the hydrogen as it's burned, which is what I've asserted all along was implausible. Giroux sells a system of modifications that disables the engine management's computer and makes the
engine run extremely lean—as lean as 20:1. That's far from the normal 14.7:1. The hydrogen is necessary to let the ultralean mix burn completely, he claims. There's also a heater for the fuel to promote complete vaporization, and some additives for the fuel and oil to complete his system.
Interesting? Why, yes. But there's a catch.
These mods come under the category of tampering with a federally-mandated emissions control system, making it impossible to pass the underhood visual inspection component of many state smog inspections. To pass this underhood check, no part of the emissions control system can appear to have been modified or disabled. Add in the OBD II pass-fail to the smog check, and odds are these modifications will
keep you from getting a smog sticker. That means you might have to disable—and perhaps remove—the system to pass the annual test. Just don't get caught in between.
I had another long talk yesterday with Steve Rumore, my off-road buddy turned HHO donater. He's experimenting with several vehicles, and actually getting some consistent results—fuel-economy improvements to the tune of 10 to 12 percent on diesel trucks pulling trailers. He's tinkering with some of the same things Giroux is suggesting. We're looking into ways to refine both his and my experimental methods. But I'm convinced
there's a lot of placebo effect. I also think that these mods may be increasing fuel economy independently of the HHO injection. So stay tuned, because we're still testing. Once we get some more data onboard, we'll be dyno testing.

Hi guys, I just wanna say THANK YOU for a fantastic product. I just bought the cell with your bubbler for my mother and her car (her name is E** *****, think you might recognize the name). She has a Honda Civic VTEC 1.5 -97. I went on a trip to check the improvement before and after. The result was an increase of more than 55% better fueleconomy. Shortly after we began experimenting with HHO we realized that conventional electrolysis would only take us so far. We designed many different HHO Generators, some with Stainless Steel tubes and some with Stainless Steel Plates. We tried almost every electrolyte possible, from Sodium Hydroxide and Pottasium Hydroxide to Ammonia and Baking Soda. We experimented with the effects of vacuum on Hydrogen production
as well as the effects of heat. We took pages and pages of notes and compared them with others.
It wasn't as simple as we thought.
We had numerous problems, most notably with controlling amperage and heat. We immediately noticed the terminals at our HHO Cell became incredibly hot and left uncontrolled, it would melt the container. We also found that it was impossible to mix our HHO electrolyte correctly given the effects temperature has on amperage.
Regardless of the electrolyte concentration, the end result was always the same. The longer the HHO Generator ran, the more amperage it consumed and the more heat it created.So, having experience in electronics, it became apparent we needed a Pulse Width Modulator for our HHO System.We experimented with many different frequencies and designs of HHO Pulse Width Modulators, just as Stanley Meyer did and settled
on the HHO PWM that worked best with minimal maintenance and tweaking.
The Pulse Width Modulators you see on this site have been carefuly designed to give you absolute control over your HHO Generator. The overheating of the terminals as well as the HHO electrolyte are a thing of the past.

An HHO generator uses the basic and very old process of electrolysis of water (H2O) to convert it to its gaseous state (HHO). For a car, truck or other vehicle, the HHO generator fits either under the hood or in the trunk or bed.
Once the HHO generator creates gas from water, this is then injected into the vehicle's intake system. The hydrogen and oxygen (sometimes called hydroxy or oxyhydrogen) helps the gasoline or diesel fuel burn more cleanly inside the cylinders.
This clean burn means fewer emissions and increased gas mileage. It must be noted that both hydrogen and oxygen are flammable and combustible in the gaseous state.
How the HHO generator works exactly has been a debate for years. Ever since William A. Rhodes (Rhode's gas) and Yull Brown (Brown's gas) applied for patents in the 1960's and 1970's concerning HHO gas and showed its use in welding applications, critics have been calling this snake oil, scams, and other choice names.
What the critics have yet to explain however is the fact that it actually does work. Yull Brown used an HHO torch to weld materials and even burn himself on the forearm to prove that an HHO generator can produce clean gas with a high temperature (over 6,000 F).

A company that Rhodes started in Phoenix, Arizona called Arizona Hydrogen Manufacturing is now selling HHO generator based welding machines that electrolyze water to create the gas for a high temperature flame. It's hard to call something snake oil when there is irrefutable visual evidence that it works.
So, because HHO gas is not well understood on an atomic scale, some people tend to pan what they don't understand. But, nevertheless, HHO generators are here to stay as their demand in the automotive industry increases daily and their use in the welding industry is also a hot commodity. Technological conservatives will soon give way to the progressives on this one.

HHO Generators – The Surge Is Working

I’ve been talking about HHO generators for a few months now. It’s been amazing how many critics have stated boldly and defiantly that HHO generators cannot work due to one math calculation or another. But, this theoretical “cannot work” has flown in the face of practical application.
There are throngs of people using hydrogen generators on their cars and trucks right now that swear by the results. The educational division of the National Hydrogen Association called H2&You has endorsed this technology it calls hydrogen fuel injection.
Now, when one exclaims that it is easy to run your car on water, then naturally a few eyebrows raise. People right now are looking for gas savers for their vehicles because of high fuel prices at the pump and don’t want to be taken for a ride by some gizmo that doesn’t work. This is understandable.
And, there are many shady websites out there that say one can run their car on 100-percent water or they confused hydrogen cars with gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles that use HHO generators for supplemental energy.
These HHO generators electrolyze water and create what is called Brown’s Gas or oxyhydrogen (hydrogen and oxygen) or HHO. People are slowly getting educated, buying HHO DIY eBooks and building their own HHO generators and sharing results on several different message boards.
The media seems to be catching on as well. There is a car dealership in Louisiana who is selling and installing HHO generators as part of their group of services they offer customers. And, what is particularly impressive to me is that two high school students from Chattanooga, Tennessee bought an HHO generator kit online, installed it in a GMC Vandura 2500 as part of a school science contest and received 19.5-percent
better gas mileage in the vehicle.
The point is that people are catching on. The delayers and deniers will tell you why HHO generators won’t work in theory, but they can’t explain the reality of the actual results people are getting. The surge is working. And, in the not too distant future, everyone who wants one will have an HHO generator in their car saving gas and reducing emissions.

HHO Generators – The Surge Is Working

I’ve been talking about HHO generators for a few months now. It’s been amazing how many critics have stated boldly and defiantly that HHO generators cannot work due to one math calculation or another. But, this theoretical “cannot work” has flown in the face of practical application.
There are throngs of people using hydrogen generators on their cars and trucks right now that swear by the results. The educational division of the National Hydrogen Association called H2&You has endorsed this technology it calls hydrogen fuel injection.
Now, when one exclaims that it is easy to run your car on water, then naturally a few eyebrows raise. People right now are looking for gas savers for their vehicles because of high fuel prices at the pump and don’t want to be taken for a ride by some gizmo that doesn’t work. This is understandable.
And, there are many shady websites out there that say one can run their car on 100-percent water or they confused hydrogen cars with gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles that use HHO generators for supplemental energy.
These HHO generators electrolyze water and create what is called Brown’s Gas or oxyhydrogen (hydrogen and oxygen) or HHO. People are slowly getting educated, buying HHO DIY eBooks and building their own HHO generators and sharing results on several different message boards.
The media seems to be catching on as well. There is a car dealership in Louisiana who is selling and installing HHO generators as part of their group of services they offer customers. And, what is particularly impressive to me is that two high school students from Chattanooga, Tennessee bought an HHO generator kit online, installed it in a GMC Vandura 2500 as part of a school science contest and received 19.5-percent
better gas mileage in the vehicle.
The point is that people are catching on. The delayers and deniers will tell you why HHO generators won’t work in theory, but they can’t explain the reality of the actual results people are getting. The surge is working. And, in the not too distant future, everyone who wants one will have an HHO generator in their car saving gas and reducing emissions.
